The East Meadow High School Theatre Guild and Music Department captivated audiences with performances of the musical comedy “Once Upon a Mattress” from April 3-6, directed by Christopher Hale. “Once Upon a Mattress,” a play written as an adaptation of the fairy tale “The Princess and the Pea,” features memorable songs and plenty of comedic, romantic and melodic turns.
The student cast impressed the audience with their exceptional performances, and the student orchestra, directed by Joel Levy, provided harmonious musical arrangements. The production was met with rave reviews from students, parents and community members.
