Students, faculty, friends, and family at Parkway Elementary School all joined together on a sunny fall Saturday to take part in the annual Fall Festival, a tradition for the past four years thanks to PTA members and co-chairs Tami Auricchio and Joanne Homan.
One of the many highlights of the day was the “Autumnal Hayride.” Community member Bobby Rauchbauer generously donated his time by turning his ATV into a “tractor.” A wagon filled with hay was hitched to his vehicle and families were taken on a fun ride around the school grounds.
Parkway PTA President Stephanie Ramos, along with PTA members Ivy Minsky and Anne Hartman, fed some of the hungry crowd by serving up delicious homemade pulled pork sandwiches and zeppole. In addition, children piled into the school’s gymnasium to take turns in the bouncing ball room and on the slides.
Everyone in attendance had a great time and looks forward to next year’s Fall Festival!
