W.T. Clarke High School students Ganesh Ravichandran and Pavithran Ravindran and East Meadow High School students Kavita Gera and Ayyan Zubair competed in the Long Island Science and Engineering Fair in February. All have been selected to progress to the second round of competition on March 13 at Crest Hollow Country Club.
Round-two winners qualify to compete at the International Science and Engineering Fair in Los Angeles from May 10-16. ISEF brings together students from the international community to compete for internships, scientific field trips, scholarships and tuition grants.
The district wishes them well in the next round of competition.
